Profile
This is me
Fashion Designer and Creative Director from Colombia, graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York, with a Master of Arts in Contemporary Fashion Design from IFA Paris and a foundation in Industrial Design from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. My creative journey has evolved through the intersection of haute couture craftsmanship, artistic storytelling, and contemporary streetwear.
Having lived and worked between Paris and New York for nearly a decade, I have developed an international perspective deeply influenced by fashion, art, and multicultural creative environments. My experience includes working with luxury and couture techniques through my own artistic practice and label, while also collaborating with renowned fashion houses and brands.
In New York, I gained industry experience working with JS Group International on embroidery development, technical design, and luxury garment production for Carmen Marc Valvo, as well as interning at Oscar de la Renta within the fur department. I also developed fashion illustration and graphic artwork for brands such as Olympia Le-Tan.
Currently, as Creative Director of HAKISTORM, I lead the artistic vision of the brand while remaining deeply involved in the hands-on creation process, from concept development and draping to garment construction and final execution. My work merges tailored craftsmanship, couture-inspired techniques, and a bold artistic streetwear identity, creating pieces that celebrate individuality, emotion, and craftsmanship.
